Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Oversee cash flow, bank reconciliations, and daily banking activities.
  • Reconcile vendor and subcontractor accounts, ensuring timely payments.
  • Handle tax filings and assist with audits and statutory compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, accounting standards, and internal controls.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ODOO, QuickBooks, Sage, Tally, or construction-specific ERP).
  • Knowledge of relevant tax laws and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with progress billing and Work in Progress (WIP) schedules.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including site engineers and project managers.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced, deadline-driven construction environment that requires flexibility and strong time management.
  • Regular interaction with site teams, project managers, and other departments to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.

Deployment Location:

  • Ingore, Iloilo, with possible training in Manila (with company-provided accommodation and allowance during training).
