Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee cash flow, bank reconciliations, and daily banking activities.
- Reconcile vendor and subcontractor accounts, ensuring timely payments.
- Handle tax filings and assist with audits and statutory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ODOO, QuickBooks, Sage, Tally, or construction-specific ERP).
- Knowledge of relevant tax laws and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with progress billing and Work in Progress (WIP) schedules.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including site engineers and project managers.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, deadline-driven construction environment that requires flexibility and strong time management.
- Regular interaction with site teams, project managers, and other departments to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
Deployment Location:
- Ingore, Iloilo, with possible training in Manila (with company-provided accommodation and allowance during training).
