These core values challenge every team from head office and different project sites to solve tasks and to work together and in the process of learning vital skills necessary for a good team and provide opportunities to share ideas in a fun relaxed environment.
As structured from the company’s core values, the team building program was carried out along with the following objectives.

- Responsibility – Embracing each team member’s weaknesses and strength
- Firm & Decisive – Choosing what strategy is best to pursue and finish the given tasks
- Efficiency – Having the capacity to build a technique to win the game
- Collaboration – Developing good working relationship between all members

The team activities were conducted in the liveliest manner, hearty discussions and group fun activities. Several methods of content delivery were used during the team building with the key ones such as:

- Lectures and Debriefings (Integration of Core Values)
- Outdoor Activities
These methods were utilized so as to create an interactive team building session to which each participant felt that that they are part of the process and created a relaxed atmosphere for enhanced learning and bonding amongst team members.
The program started with an opening prayer from Lady Anne Mendoza followed by the welcome remarks from the VP of Engineering & Contracts, Engr. Dennis V. Salazar.
The participants were then led through some ice breaking session meant to create a free learning environment. After which, the participants were given a chance to share their expectation. Some of the expectations were;
- To learn and experience something new
- To encourage everyone to perform
- To know each other better especially those who are from project sites
- To build a strong team
- To bond, interact and mingle
In this session, each group was asked to showcase their creativity in making a cheering presentation in order to introduce their respective team.
The goal of this activity is to create champions on and off the floor through providing the opportunity to learn and practice perseverance,
responsibility and dedication.
LANDMINES – BLINDFOLDED
Once He/She Tapped The Obstacle, He/She Is Out From The Game Or To Start All Over Again. The Further The Blindfolded Team Member Moves Into The Course, The Farther Away From The Team Members He/She Moves. Hearing Their Own Team Members Becomes More Difficult, But The Voices Of The Opposing Team Become More Prominent.
In This Activity, Participants Have To Navigate Through A Minefield Of Objects While They Were Blindfolded. To Get Through The Minefield, They Have To Listen To The Instructions Of Their Team Members Who Have To Guide Them Around The Obstacles. The Blindfolded Team Member Has To Listen Closely In Order To Cross The Frame Without Tapping Any Obstacle (Different Shapes Made Of Foam),
Each team was instructed to form 3 groups with 10 members each, an octopus leg rubber were provided to wrap around their hands, slowly pick the cup full of water from the pail and transfer it to the bucket on the other side of the course interchangeably. Nobody was allowed to touch directly to the cup. Otherwise, they will be eliminated from the game. The first team who filled the bucket and rolled down the ping pong ball on it won the game.
COLLABORATION WAS PROMOTED IN THIS ACTIVITY AS THEY FIND WAYS TO WORK AS A TEAM AND ACHIEVE THE TARGET GOAL WHILE KEEPING AHEAD OF THEIR COMPETITORS.
In this set, each group must finish the course using sets of instructions to be followed given to them. Teams will need to out-smart and out-race their competitors across a predetermined route that will see them stopping at numerous checkpoints with the ultimate goal of getting to the finish line in the quickest time. The target of this activity is to instill time management, critical thinking and strategy to build an efficient team.
